New York-Metro

JSHS invites high school students to report on the results of their original research investigations in STEM and compete for scholarships and recognition at university-held regional symposia. Students in grades 9-12 enrolled in public, private, or home schools are eligible to participate in their local Regional Symposium. See Rules of Competition for eligibility details. There is no cost to register for or participate in a regional JSHS event. If you are asked to pay a fee to register, please contact us at admin@www.jshs.org.

The New York – Metro JSHS region includes high schools located in the New York City Metro Area. The New York Metro Area includes the  counties of  New York, Bronx, Richmond, Kings, Queens, Rockland and Westchester. New York students who attend schools outside of the New York Metro Area should participate in either the New York – Upstate JSHS Region or the New York – Long Island JSHS Region.
