Regional Volunteers

Volunteers are essential to a successful JSHS program. Students enjoy networking with local leaders from academia, industry, and other organizations who encourage them and provide valuable insight into STEM careers. There are many ways to get in involved; no matter your background or availability, there is a role for you.

You can directly participate and support your Regional JSHS by:

  • Mentoring a student through a research project
  • Judging
  • Speaking at the symposium
  • Helping at the event
  • Hosting a tour of your laboratory or STEM organization
  • Sponsoring additional awards or scholarships
