Wyoming and Colorado

JSHS invites high school students to report on the results of their original research investigations in STEM and compete for scholarships and recognition at university-held regional symposia. Students in grades 9-12 enrolled in public, private, or home schools are eligible to participate in their local Regional Symposium. See Rules of Competition for eligibility details. There is no cost to register for or participate in a regional JSHS event. If you are asked to pay a fee to register, please contact us at admin@www.jshs.org.

All Wyoming high schools are eligible to participate in the Wyoming and Colorado Regional JSHS. Additionally, Colorado high schools located north of Highway 50, excluding Pueblo, should participate in the Wyoming and Colorado Regional JSHS. Students who attend school systems located south of Highway 50, including all of Pueblo, should participate in the Southwest Regional JSHS. 

Information and dates for 2026-27 regional events will be posted in the fall of 2026.
