Philadelphia and Delaware

JSHS invites high school students to report on the results of their original research investigations in STEM and compete for scholarships and recognition at university-held regional symposia. Students in grades 9-12 enrolled in public, private, or home schools are eligible to participate in their local Regional Symposium. See Rules of Competition for eligibility details. There is no cost to register for or participate in a regional JSHS event. If you are asked to pay a fee to register, please contact us at admin@www.jshs.org.

The Philadelphia and Delaware JSHS region includes high schools located in the Greater Philadelphia Area and the State of Delaware. The Greater Philadelphia Area includes the City of Philadelphia and surrounding collar counties, which are Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks. Pennsylvania students who attend schools outside of the Greater Philadelphia Area should participate in the Pennsylvania JSHS.
