Students and chaperones

JSHS student delegates RSVP to the JSHS regional director to accept or decline the invitation to attend National. A unique registration code is then provided to individual students to confirm their plans to attend and fully participate in the National JSHS. Once students complete their registration, travel reservations will be coordinated with the student and chaperone who will be traveling with the regional delegation.

Student delegates must state a preference for flight arrangements and are reminded to consider any potential conflict. Registration prompts for arrival date, departure date, and originating airport.

Non-refundable airline tickets are purchased. So, please be sure to note any uncertainty in travel dates.

Participation in the 51st National JSHS requires full attendance. If you have any conflicts, please coordinate with your regional symposium director. The National JSHS Office requests that regions pass the award to the next alternate if a student cannot fully participate in the National JSHS.

Airline Travel Security

All participants traveling by air and aged 18 or older must present a government-issued identification card at airport check-in. New security procedures require that the name on the airline ticket match the name of the identification presented at airline screening.
