Participation Costs

Students' participation (i.e. travel, hotel, and meals) costs for symposium attendance are sponsored by the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force. A maximum of $50 - $100.00 in cash or traveler's checks is suggested for students' personal choices for additional meals, souvenirs, etc.

Participation costs for adult guests include:

Airfare;

Room rate of $125 per night (single, double or triple room) -- subject to current tax of 12% ($140 total)

A $100 registration fee per person

All meals from Wednesday dinner through Sunday continental breakfast (Total $305), or individual pricing as below. All pricing includes tax and 22% gratuity
  • Wednesday dinner -- $40

    All breakfasts (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) -- $20.00/per breakfast per day

    Thursday lunch (lab tours) -- $15.00

    Thursday dinner (Marriott general session) -- $40.00

    Friday lunch (Marriott student research presentations) -- $30

    Friday dinner (Admission, National Aquarium, Inner Harbor) -- $20

    Saturday lunch (Marriott student research presentations) -- $30

    Saturday Banquet and awards ceremony -- $50.00
